Important Viennese Neoclassical Writing Table, Attributed to Joseph Haupt, fine architectural, mahogany veneered base with ebonised birch, copper and brass marquetry and applied gilt bronze decoration, table-shaped lower section with central niche, frieze drawer and fall-front writing drawer, interior veneered in yew, upper section with two drawers and three flaps, arched-shaped inner section veneered in ash and inlaid with bone, with leather writing surface and mirrored back, four drawers and an ebonised, hinged reading stand, 144 x 92.5 x 71.5 cm, Vienna circa 1800/10, mostly original condition, with slight restorations to the fittings and veneer.
