lot of 3. An intriguing group of two anonymous cdvs and a slightly larger card mounted image documenting the presence of the U.S. military in Indian Territory during, or immediately following the Civil War. One is a mid-distance view of an infantry company posed with their artillery piece, with the grassy plains rising in the distance. Two, taken at slightly different times, shows a one room clapboard building on the plains, with American Indians, white civilian and army personnel posed in front. In one of these image, three mounted officers appear. One retains an inked manuscript identification of counsil [sic] house on verso. A trio of images worthy of further research.

Condition: One with a vertical crease in the image, the others with minor stains on mounts.
