THE MUMBLING MUSE provides economical in-house packing & shipping services as a convenience to bidders. and has extensive experience shipping antiques, collectibles and fine art worldwide.
THE MUMBLING MUSE maintains a highly specialized cargo insurance policy, particularly tailored for the shipment of antiques, collectibles and fine art. Specialized outbound shipping insurance at full value (hammer price + premium) is provided with all purchases. Items of significant value (Over $5000 CAD) or items requiring specialty custom crating, oversized etc. may be referred to a 3rd party professional shipper at our discretion.
HOW SHIPPING COSTS ARE CALCULATED - THE MUMBLING MUSE charges a small handling fee per order to help offset the cost of labour, insurance and premium packaging materials ($2.00 per $100.00 to a maximum fee of $50.00 per order) which is added to the ‘actual’ cost of the shipping label.
