British India, Imitation/Forgery Notes (5), 5 Notes, KGV,Uniface 5 Rupees (1921)and 10 Rupees (1918), 1 Rupee (2 notes-1917 1935), KGVI, 5 Rupees (1944), FORGED red seal on 1 Rupee dated 1935, about fine to very fine, Very Rare.
Note: An interesting lot of early contemporary forged notes, few notes have annotations mentioned, it is possible that these are file numbers for bookkeeping purposes recorded in the banks where these notes were first noted as forged. Few historians believe that these forged notes were made during the war time but the cataloguer has not encountered any evident proof for this.
