<td width="100%">
Elegant Japanese bronze footed artifact, possibly an Ikebana vase, decorated with three-dimensional stylized flowers and tendrils in the Art Nouveau style. Interior bowl has center ring, probably meant to place a flower holder. This is a good example of how, in the early 1900's, the Japanese adopted the "new look" of Art Nouveau to appeal to western markets. It is marked on the underside with Japanese characters, most likely the artist's or manufacturer's signature, and the English text: "Made in Japan" which dates it as a post World War I piece. In good condition, as shown. Additional photos available upon request. Please send us an email before bidding with your state, country and zip code so we can estimate shipping charges to your location.

Measurements: Diameter: 8"; Height: 7.13" including base. (Item #352)
