Both costume pieces have western costume labels inside.
Original shirt and jacket worn by "General Dwight D. Eisenhower", played by Robert Duvall on the Boris Sagal and Melville Shavelson directed television miniseries 'Ike: The War Years' (1979), about the life of Dwight D. Eisenhower, with heavy concentration on the time he went to Europe during World War II to serve as Supreme Commander.
The production starred Robert Duvall as Eisenhower and Lee Remick as Kay Summersby.
The series garnered five Emmy Award nominations.
