Group of 3 specific letters from the Office of the Idaho Midland Railway Co. , and (2) from a San Francisco gentleman (name illegible) to a Colonel Judson Spofford of the Lewiston Southeastern Elect. Railway of Lewiston, ID. These last 2 are dated from 1904. Col. Spofford (#-10-1846 to 9-11-1937) was a civil war veteran who was essential in the development of Boise Idaho. As the last know survivor of the civil war battle of Monocracy Junction, he was buried in Arlington Nat`l. Cemetery.City: BoiseCounty: State: ID
