Very attractive and rare Western stage pass. No. 200, issued for 1904 year to J.K. Weatherford, vice president of Corvallis & Eastern Railroad Company. Signed by W.E. Travis as general manager. Fabulous vignette in upper right of stagecoach. Reverse states it is also good on Utah, Nevada & California Stage Company lines. Printed on cardstock. Soiling. According to an 1899 advertisement in the Lewiston Tribune, the company offered "daily service from Lewiston to Grangeville and intermediate points, making close connections at Grangeville for the Buffalo Hump Mining District. This line affords a daily service to all the following points: Buffalo Hump, via Florence, Slate Creek, Adams Camp, Mt. Idaho and Grangeville: Buffalo Hump via Badger, Elk City, Bridgeport, Grangeville, Denver, Cottonwood, Westlake, Morrow and Waha Lake. C. F. Leland, General Agent, Lewiston. Six-horse stock, seventeen passenger coaches, Buffalo to Lewiston in 36 hours, all daylight travel. First class eating stations. W. E. Travis, General Manager, Salt Lake City, Utah."
