Included in this lot we have a Idaho Leather Company hand tooled leather rifle scabbard originating from the late 20th century. The Idaho Leather Company, owned and operated by Ben Wetzel was known of its high quality hand crafted saddles, holsters, and other leather goods. It has since shut down due to Wetzel's death in 2013. This piece shows thick red/brown leather construction with contrasting light tan leather stitching. The scabbard shows sections of hand tooled cross stitch patterns pressed into the piece. The piece shows a tooled end cover with metal clasp and strap loops along each side of the case. The scabbard is marked on one side reading. 803 Idaho Leather Co. Boise, Idaho 26". The piece shows good condition overall with some slight wear due to use. The scabbard measures 38 1/2" long by 8 1/4" at the widest.
