<B>ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE SCENE INLAID IN BLACK ONYX BOX</B></I><I> </B></I><BR> <I>Handcrafted in Italy<BR>Stone source: Worldwide</B></I><BR>A pastoral Italian countryside scene is the focal point of this exquisitely inlaid box. Rendered in amazing detail, the master lapidary artist used the rich colors and patterns of natural stone to create this idyllic scene. There are snow covered mountains of lapis and thulite, forests of serpentine, calm lake waters of amazonite, a building of marble and jaspers, along with other stone accents in picture-stone, rhyolite, and jaspers to complete the scene. The scene is inlaid in the top of a black onyx box with black onyx interior and gold plated furniture. It is in fine condition and measures 5 ¾ x 3 7/8 x 2 ½ inches.
