JOHN TROTTER Revolutionary War military officer, an aide-de-camp to Gen. Rufus Putnam. A.D.S., 1p. oblong 9vo., Colla Bargh, Feb. 20, 1779, orders directed to Capt. Flowers. In full: "Commissary Stile will issue one gill rum per day to Capt. Willcocks's Artificers, when to be had. He will issue provisions to Colonel Hammond's Militia at work at the bridge to the order of Capt. Flowers and rum when issued to the Continental Troops. He will also issue one gill of rum per day to such of Capt. Willcock's men and the Militia as may be obliged to work in the water on the order of Capt. Flowers" . Fine.
