IROQUOIS SHIP'S MIRROR
HISTORICAL SHIP'S MIRROR: A part of early Seattle, WA is this all-original ship's oval shaped, mounted bath mirror with formed cup, and bath utility holders once used on the Northwest-Alaska passenger ship ''Iroquois''. This lot includes an article from the ''Pacific Magazine'' dated April 4, 1982 in which there is a wonderful picture of the ''Iroquois'' taken in 1910 at the then Coleman Dock in Seattle, WA.. The Iroquois could carry 800 passengers and a crew of 30. The ship was ''laid up in Lake Union in 1972 when it was remodeled'' and it was at that time this mirror was purchased. The ship was made into processing ship for crab. Note: Originally appears to have been chrome or polished finished but currently in need of restoration, 22'' H x 15'' at the base. The mirror shows signs of silver failure in some areas.
