A large and well-cast sculpture with fine features and in the seated Dharmachakra (teaching mudra). Top knot, elongated ears, double necklace, decorations at the edges of his robe and decorations on his knees make this a very special example. Almost 9" tall and 6-1/2" wide at the knees, he is impressive and serene with closed eyes. 17-18th C. with only rust in the midsection (can be easily halted by applying a little oil).
