London : John Murray, 1825Pages (6), 580, 8vo, finely bound in recent calf-backed marb;ed boards, gilt ruled spine, with label, gilt : a nice copy. Including extensive evident by Daniel O'Connell, and from Richard Shiel, Hugh O'Connor, Anthony F. Blake, and others.ALSO WITH THIS LOT: (1) LAW ( James Sylvius ). The wrongs of Ireland historically reviewed, from the invasion to the present time, a national poem, in six cantos, with copious illustrations ; to which is prefixed, an Eulogium to Ogygia. FIRST (?ONLY) EDITION, pages (4), xx, (5) - 239, (1), 8vo, original green cloth, uncut : the binding worn and stained, lacking one inch from head of backstrip, the printed title label heavily worn, but still, the binding strong and internally a very good to nice, uncut copy. (2) SAINTHILL ( Richard ). The Old Countess of Desmond [Katherine Fitzgerald, d.1604] : an inquiry, did she ever seek redress at the court of Queen Elizabeth, as recorded in the journal of Robert Sydney, Earl of Leicester ? And did she ever sit for her portrait ? From the proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, Vol. VII. Dublin : Printed for private distribution only, at the University Press, by M. H. Gill, 1861. With a folding table (two closed tears, no loss), 76-pp, roy 8vo, original cloth : very good Inscribed on flyleaf "Anthony Morgan Esq / Junr / With Miss Forsters / kind regards" and with four corrections in the text in the same hand. The dedication "To Miss Saunders Forster" is dated from Cork.
