CARBINE. Cal. 6.5 Carc. S# 5489. Bbl. 17 3/4". Blade front sight. Elevator rear sight graduated to 1500m. Matching numbers on stock & bbl. Bbl. shank has 1934 date & FNA Brescia markings. Blued finish. Folding spike bayonet present but bayonet is loose & not locking in. Beech stock with left side sling provisions. Right side of butt has an interesting plaque that appears to be commemorating the death of Giuseppe Fineschi who died for the Mussolini's cause on May 27th, 1922 in Figline, Italy. Left side of stock also has faded Brescia roundel. CONDITION: stock set shows some chipping, scattered dings, & handling wear. Metal retains 30-40% arsenal blue with areas turning gray & scattered oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows scattered oxidation & dried grease with evident rifling.
