From Lombok Island (Next to Bali) these excavated beads are in a design brought by Phoenician Seamen/Traders. 1st. Millenium AD, prior to the introduction of Buddhism and Hinduism to the region. A fine graduated string of tannish clay round beads that I personally purchased from the local tribespeople/finders in 2002. 23" with native stringing.
