Narendra Manikya (1693-1695), Silver Tanka, 10.45g, SE 1615, Obv: Lion to left, date Sake 1615 below within inner circle, outer border of circles with central pellets, Rev: Bengali Legend ''Hari (Shiva Ling) Hara Pa/da Padma Madhup/ Sri Sri Yuta Nare/ndra Manikya Devah'' in four lines with square, normal scrollwork around (KM# 178, R&B# 226). Very fine+, exceedingly rare.
Narendra Manikya with the help of Mughal Governor of Bengal usurp Ratna Manikya and capture throne but within short span of 2 years he was over throne by Ratna Manikya again. A coins of Narendra Manikya have the name of Hari as well the Shiva Lingam showing he worshipped Vishnu & Shiva.
