EXTRACTORS. Cal. 12 Ga. 2 3/4". S# FW25067. This unusual combination of features is on a featherweight gun w/ 30" bbls. fitted w/ narrow matted rib. Correct factory markings are on tops. Bbl. flats are stamped w/ date, S# & grade. Bottoms of bbls. are stamped "London Steel". Featherweight action w/ nonautomatic safety & selective Hunter one trigger is engraved in normal ideal style w/ swags of stylized acanthus. "L.C. Smith" is on each lockplate. Triggerplate is marked "HUNTER ONE TRIGGER". S# is on blued trigger guard tang. Capped pistol grip buttstock of lightly figured American walnut measures 13 1/8" over ribbed hardrubber buttplate & usual point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching splinter forend has J-spring release accompanied by sugartong secondary latch w/ button in forend tip. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R L .734".727". Restriction: R .034" (FULL), L .036" (FULL). Min. Wall Thickness: R .021", L .020". STOCK: DAH: 2 9/16". DAC: 1 1/2". LOP: 13 1/8". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 6 lb. 11 oz. CONDITION: fair to fine (stock badly cracked). Bbls. retain most of what appears to be their original blue w/ considerable thinning on sides w/ many marks & dings. Action retains about 30% original case hardening color w/ balance faded to gray & brown. Lockplates retain most of their color. Trigger guard retains about 60% of its blue. Stocks retain most of their original oil finish, checkering somewhat worn. Buttstock is cracked from rear of lockplates through hand pin & crack moves a considerable amount (needs attention before firing). Bores are bright w/ light frosting & a few light dents, mostly on left bbl. about 5" behind muzzle. Action is tight. Trigger appears to work, but has a catch between shots (stock repair might correct). (22-4063/MGM). CURIO. $600-800.
