<B>"I Remember Mama" Skirt Worn by Irene Dunne.</B></I> Dunne's performance as Mama Hanson in the tear-jerker <I>I Remember Mama</B></I> was arguably her best, and earned her the fifth and last Oscar nomination she would receive for Best Actress. Designed by Edward Stephens, the gray wool skirt, floor-length on Dunne's 5'5" frame, was worn by the actress in the film, and has a production tag sewn on to inner seam of the tiny 25" waist line. The tag lists Dunne's name along with production details in black ink.
