I-HSING TEAPOTS. Lot of 4, all I-Hsing from Kiangsu province of China, probably dating to the 18th through early 20th century. Includes a tiny rounded form, undecorated with inscription on bottom in Chinese "Try New Tea," 1.75" high x 2.5" long; PLUS a hexagonal shaped pot with applied relief floral and bamboo form spout, 3.25" high x 6.5" long; PLUS a beautifully simple rounded form, 3.5" high x 7" long, marked on base; AND an enamel decorated rounded form with blue and white enamel decoration and brass bale handle, 4" high with handle x 5" long, marked on base and signed under lid. These pots have the reputation for making the best tea in the world. 1st tiny chips under lid; 2nd same; 3rd same; 4th same.
