Very rare. "Pah Ranagat District, State of Nevada" printed at bottom. No. 607, issued for 600 shares in 1870. Signed by President, H. S. Terbill and Secretary, William D. Harris. Not cancelled. The Hyko Silver Mining Co. incorporated in New York in 1869; Capitalized at $7,500,000; 750,000 shares at $10 per. Ornate design with black on green. A vignette of the Capitol building in Washington D.C. on right and allegorical women of liberty at right. A 25 cent brown Internal Revenue stamp is cancelled by the company secretary. Folds, stamp stain on right. Hyko was the county seat of Lincoln County from 1867 to 1871 and a few hundred residents lived nearby.
