Appealing vintage circa 1960s/70s Bacon-type hydrogen/oxygen fuel cell demonstrator, measuring approximately 5? x 9? x 7?, featuring two circular gauges, a volt meter, and an ammeter on the base. Housed in a gray carrying case. In fine condition. Francis Thomas Bacon developed the first practical hydrogen–oxygen fuel cell during the 1940s and 1950s, and the alkaline fuel cell design was used by NASA during the Apollo and Space Shuttle missions.
