Housed in a handsome custom quarter green morocco over green cloth clamshell case, the spine in compartments with five raised bands and lettered in gilt.<BR><BR>According to Streeter, this is "the first general guide to Texas...It must have been a useful book for intending settlers, and its contemporary account of existing conditions makes it a valuable book now."
