Humayun (AH 937-947 / 1530-1540 AD), Silver Rupee/Tanka, 11.30g, 28.52mm, Bengal issue on the rupee standard, legend within circle on both sides, Obv: the Shahada with legend 'Yarzaq allah man tasha bi-ghair hisab' that is Allah provides for those whom He pleases without account, in the center within five lines, Rev: 'Muhammad Humayun Ghazi 'with his titles and adl Bangala that is a just (weight) coin of Bangala. The coin is probably minted when Humayun campaigned in the east to keep Sher Shah out of Bengal. (G& amp;G # B951). Small crack on rev., Very Fine. Very Rare.
