Hafting stone tools or corner tang stone tools were a technological advancement for mankind. This tool was designed to be strapped to a handle or arrow. The smaller tool here was found in Cowley County, Kansas and the more reddish tool was found in Kay County, Oklahoma, basically across the state line. However, these tools have been documented and noted in Comanche County, Tx. considerably farther south than the two examples shown. 4000 -2000 B.P. Please see photos for details. (ref.
