<B>Huge Collection of Dug Civil War Relics From Northern Virginia</B></I> A 20" x 21 x 11" Plexiglas display case contains a hoard of over a thousand relics just as found. Nothing has been cleaned, treated or sorted. The grouping's hundreds of dropped bullets contain a good mix of Yankee three-ringers, Confederate Gardners and assorted carbine rounds. (A quick glance showed a nice Washington Arsenal star-base minie ball.) Brass items include a few US oval plates, eagle plates, civilian buckles, bayonet scabbard tips, artillery fuses, two butt plates, spurs, a set of Union Army shoulder scales, knapsack hooks, rivets and the like. Iron relics are dominated by a broken musket barrel having its hammer and lockplate. There are also gun parts, gun tools, a watering bit and horseshoes.
