Large collection of the hats and costumes that clothed the various puppet characters of Captain Kangaroo. Widely varied assortment of nearly 200 pieces includes 40 handcrafted hats likely made for Mister Moose in classic styles: tophat, firefighter hat, aviator cap with goggles, Santa hat, wizard hat, Cub Scout cap, shower cap, deerstalker, turban, mortarboard, king's crown with red velvet and a hat that matches Bainter the Painter's paint-splattered wardrobe. These measure 5'' in diameter. Delightful lot also includes little hats made for Bunny Rabbit, with slits to accommodate tall ears. Puppet clothes include capes, costumes and hats in all different miniature sizes, plus a teensy fingertip baseball glove likely used by Bunny Rabbit. Lot comprises 182 pieces in all. In near fine condition.
