The lot features a worked and etched copper turtle traded by the Hudson Bay Fur Trading Co. to the Northern Plains Native American Indians. The necklace features excellent 18th-19th century ruby red glass Russian faceted trade bead and copper necklace. The turtle shows a halved Russian faceted bead accenting the center. The piece is worked copper in the shape of a turtle effigy and marked "HB" Hudson Bay Co. hallmark. The piece shows overall good condition. The copper pendant shows the crown and walking lion hallmarks. The effigy pendant measures 3.75" x 7" and the necklace is 32" long.
