<B>Howell Cobb Document Signed as Secretary of the Treasury</B></I> “<I>Howell Cobb</B></I>”. One page, 7.75” x 9.75”, on printed Treasury Department document, April 7, 1857. Cobb signs a document clearing a shipment of glass from Liverpool, England which had originally entered the country with a disputed invoice. The document exhibits the usual fold creases, with some minor wrinkling and toning, a couple of small old tape repairs on the verso, and a small portion of the upper left corner missing, else very good. The document is offered with another Cobb signature, 3” x .75”, clipped from a document or letter and mounted to a 4.75” x 2.75” backing sheet, toned else very good. <I>Ex. Henry E.
