DS, signed “Howard R. Hughes, president,” three pages, 8.5 x 13, April 28, 1928. Hughes's Caddo Company loans actor Louis Wolheim to Samuel Goldwyn Inc. "as a featured player in the production of a motion picture to be made under the working title of 'The Innocent.'" Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Hughes and countersigned by a Goldwyn vice president. In fine condition. Accompanied by a TLS signed by Joseph W. Engel on Caddo Company letterhead, May 12, 1928, delaying by one day the period of Wolheim's loan-out so that he can spend an extra day filming The Racket.
