This original 25 cent prop coin was custom-made for use in Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). Crafted from metal and measuring 1" in diameter, the coin features a whimsical design unique to the fictional town of Whoville. One side displays a holiday wreath with bells beneath the phrase “E Pluribus Whonum,” while the reverse is engraved with an ornate “25.”

Coins like this are most prominently featured in the bustling Farfingles department store sequence, where the citizens of Whoville are seen joyfully shopping for Christmas gifts. These distinctive coins add a delightful touch of world-building and help bring the cheerful, Seussian economy of Whoville to life.

A charming and rare piece of screen-used memorabilia, this coin is a must-have for fans of the film or collectors of imaginative movie props.
