A rare original special screening invitation for Ron Howard’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), the beloved live-action adaptation starring Jim Carrey as the iconic Grinch.
Measuring approximately 6.75" x 6.75", this two-sided printed invitation features a vivid close-up image of Jim Carrey as the Grinch on the front, perfectly capturing his mischievous expression and Rick Baker’s Academy Award–winning makeup work. The reverse side displays the official screening details for the event, including the film’s logo, the date “Wednesday, November 15” at AMC Burbank 14, and the Universal and Imagine Entertainment production credits along the bottom border.
These invitations were distributed only to select industry guests and production personnel, making them exceptionally scarce pieces of Grinch history. As a promotional artifact from one of the most visually imaginative holiday films ever made, it offers a tangible connection to the film’s Hollywood debut and the excitement surrounding its release.
A beautifully preserved and display-worthy collectible celebrating Jim Carrey’s unforgettable transformation into Dr. Seuss’s most famous holiday character.
