This is a set of two original 4" x 6" production-used photographs from the making of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"(2000), captured as part of the set decoration department's reference materials. These behind-the-scenes images document the extraordinary world of Whoville in all its quirky, Seussian glory.
One photo highlights a vibrantly detailed food cart or market display featuring oversized faux produce and whimsical holiday treats, while the other captures a crew member posing with a custom-built Whoville tricycle, a wonderfully oddball piece of vehicle design straight from the film’s festive streets.
Used during filming to maintain continuity and guide set dressing, these rare snapshots offer a peek into the artistry and craftsmanship behind one of the most visually inventive holiday movies ever made. An excellent addition for collectors of screen-used production material or fans of the Grinch’s colorful world.
