An original production-used Makeup Effects Continuity Contact Sheet from Ron Howard’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Universal, 2000).
Measuring 20" x 12", this vibrant photographic sheet was used by Rick Baker’s legendary Cinovation Studios makeup team to document and track the extensive prosthetic and hair designs for the film’s whimsical residents of Whoville. The sheet includes detailed reference photos of numerous Whoville citizens, as well as multiple incarnations of the Grinch, including schoolboy, teenage, and adult versions, capturing the full evolution of the character’s transformation.
Also featured are designs for Martha May Whovier (Christine Baranski) and various supporting Whos, each shown in full prosthetic makeup and elaborate hairstyles. These contact sheets were essential to maintaining character continuity during production and remain a remarkable behind-the-scenes artifact from the film’s Oscar-winning makeup department.

The item(s) may exhibit varying levels of wear and studio distressing, as detailed in the listing images that provide an accurate representation of the condition.
