A custom-printed prop nomination card created for use in Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), used by Bill Irwin in his role as the ever-cheerful Lou Lou Who, the Postmaster of Whoville.
This production-made back-up card measures approximately 7.5" x 4.5" and features Lou Lou Who’s spontaneous and comically formal nomination of Mayor August May-Who for Holiday Cheermeister, printed in bold, Seussian-style type across a clean white cardstock. The prop was designed by the film’s art department to match the fantastical Whoville aesthetic, complete with playful fonts and symmetrical layout that mirror the town’s quirky sense of order and pageantry.
A fun and display-ready piece of Whoville history, directly tied to one of the film’s most iconic holiday sequences and the character who embodies the spirit of community and cheer.
