(Universal, 2000) This Santa costume was custom-made by the production for use by Jim Carrey's stunt double "Pat Banta" in the title role as The Grinch. The costume consists of a coat, belt and shoes. The coat is made of red terry cloth with white fur trim and features a "John David Ridge" label attached inside that is marked "Pat Banta". The wide leather belt has a unique metal buckle and Velcro applied to the inside. The shoes feature curled toes with a single bell attached to each shoe. This is the single most iconic costume from the Ron Howard holiday classic and would be a cherished piece in any collection.
