A towering piece of Whoville charm, this oversized loving cup display was custom-made by the production for use as set dressing inside Farfingles Department Store in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). Designed in the film’s signature Seussian style, the display features a sweeping gold fiberglass loving cup with exaggerated looping handles, draped in vibrant red festive “fabric” and accented with sparkling gold tinsel around its sturdy cylindrical base.
Standing an impressive 7 feet 5.25 inches tall, 5 feet 1 inche wide, and 19 inches deep, this screen-seen piece is one of only three created for the iconic department store set. Bold, eye-catching, and instantly recognizable, it embodies the playful, over-the-top holiday aesthetic that defines Ron Howard’s beloved adaptation.
Both a striking display and a fantastic conversation piece, this rare production-made artifact brings a touch of Whoville magic to any collection.
