Original hand-painted xerographic line drawn animation cel from the 1966 classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas, showing Max with an antler tied to his head straining under the weight of the Grinch’s sled, 15.25 x 10.5, with visible portion measuring 11.75 x 9.25, and set against its original key master pan color background, painted in gauche. Signed on the cel in black felt tip, “Chuck Jones,” with a copyright mark and “1966” under signature. Cel also bears a Linda Jones Enterprises hologram. Double matted to an overall size of 18.5 x 16. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Linda Jones Enterprises.
