This large, custom-made Whoville Christmas ornament was screen-used in Ron Howard’s "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000) and features dramatic damage and burn detailing from one of the film’s most chaotic scenes, when the Grinch destroys the massive Whoville Christmas tree in spectacular fashion.
Measuring approximately 7.5” tall and 6.5” in diameter, the ornament is constructed of durable plastic and painted in a rich, metallic red finish. The piece has been intentionally broken and scorched by the production team to reflect the aftermath of the Grinch’s holiday rampage, with jagged cracked edges and blackened burn effects that capture the comedic destruction at the heart of the scene.
An instantly recognizable and rare example of practical effects artistry, this ornament embodies the mischievous spirit of the Grinch and stands as a fantastic display piece for collectors of holiday movie memorabilia or fans of Whoville’s whimsical world.
