Harry Houdini signed copy of “The Unmasking of Robert-Houdin.” New York: Publishers Printing Co.:1908. Later printing. Signed in fountain pen to front free endpaper, “With compliments of the author Harry Houdini.” Pencil inscription added in another hand reads, “To J. W. Sayre, Oct 18/1915.” An interesting volume written by Houdini as a form of revenge after the widow of Robert-Houdin refused to meet him. Hardcover volume measures 5.75” x 8.25” and runs 330pp. Mild toning to signed page, owner’s bookplate and notation to front pastedown, light soiling to covers, and slight weakening to spine. Overall, very good condition.
