This Bronze Sculpture Is Of A Woman Dancing The Night Away. She Holds Out Her Hands With Her Palms Facing Upward Toward The Open Sky. She Wears A Smile On Her Face And Glances Downwards As She Enjoys The Midsummer'S Night Warm Breeze. On Her Head Is An Ornate Detailed Cap Along With Extremely Well Trimmed Wardrobe. She Sports High Heels With Gold Clasps Around Her Ankle. This Is A Beautiful Bronze Sculpture That Was Cast Using The "Lost Wax Method" She Has A Multi Patina Finish And Is Mounted On A Marble Base. This Sculpture Is 100% Bronze And Handmade. This Sculpture Is Signed By The Artist Chiparus. Demetre Haralamb Chiparus (Also Known As Dumitru Chiparus; 16 September 1886, Dorohoi, Romania - 22 January 1947, Paris, France) Was A Romanian Art Deco Era Sculptor Who Lived And Worked In Paris. He Was Born In Romania, The Son Of Haralamb And Saveta. In 1909 He Went To Italy, Where He Attended The Classes Of Italian Sculptor Raffaello Romanelli. In 1912 He Traveled To Paris To Attend The Ecole Des Beaux Arts To Pursue His Art At The Classes Of Antonin Mercie And Jean Boucher. Demetre Chiparus Died In 1947 And Was Buried In Bagneux Cemetery, Just South Of Reproduction Condition: This Sculpture Is In A Very Good Condition.
