Description: LARGE HAT that once belonged to Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright). It was given to hall of fame rodeo personality, Mel Lambert from his friend, Slim Pickens. Comes with pics of Slim and Mel together. Owned by the Mel Lambert estate since the early 1960s. Comes with what we believe is the original box. Slim Pickens son and Mel Lamberts daughter met at Western Trading Post and confirmed the hat story and friendship. Featured on Western Trading Post TV. Maker: Resistol. Approx. Age: Circa 1960. Size: Inside says, 8.5. Condition: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that.

This charge is in addition to the cost of postage and if several items are purchased by one person, going the same place, we will discount the handling / packaging charges based upon volume and difficulty of the items to ship.
