Arthur Ashe worn Jacksonville Memorial Hospital ID band. Plastic encasement reads: ''Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville'' with printed ID tag reading, '' Ashe Arthur R Jr / Chinoy Miner'' with various numbers printed as well. He possibly wore this bracelet when he was admitted to the hospital in December 1979 after suffering from his first heart attack in July. Ashe was in Florida for the Jacksonville Tennis Classic, and feeling chest pain again, admitted himself to check to make sure he had not had a second heart attack. Cut tag measures 6.25'' x .5'' and is in very good condition. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
