<B>Horse Feathers (Paramount, 1932).</B></I> Three Sheet (41" X 81"). Groucho Marx is cast as Professor Quincy Adams Wagstaff, the new president of Huxley College. The down and out college hasn't won a football game in over 40 years and Professor Wagstaff has an idea on how to turn things around. After conferring with son Frank (Zeppo Marx), who has been a student at Huxley for 12 years, he goes out to recruit two hot shot football players at the local speakeasy, but instead ends up signing Baravelli (Chico Marx) the ice man, and Pinky (Harpo Marx) the dog catcher. Offered in this lot is the only known three sheet to this comedy classic. The poster has had much restoration work done to it. It has some in-painting in all of the folds and throughout the borders where paper was missing and chipped. There were areas of paper loss in the crossfolds and there is a silver dollar size hole in the crossfold below Groucho's cigar. Most of the image was intact as a good deal of the damage was in the white background area. Posters from the brothers' Paramount years have always been scarce and this one, with a nice signature of Groucho's, is certainly a rare find for a Marx Brothers fan.
