Printed "Democratic Ticket" with Greeley and Brown above an engraved vignette with federal eagle holding a shield imprinted "Constitution and Union" flanked by symbols of agriculture and industry. 3.) Printed small 32mo "Greeley and Brown Half-Dime Campaign Songster For the Million!!" published by Novelty Manufacturing and Publishing Co., New York, NY, 32 pages. Retains original pink paper wrappers.4.) Carte de Visitie photographic portrait of Greeley in a bust length full profile pose. Imprinted on verso "Geo. Stinson & Co., Publishers, Portland, Me." 5.) Partly-printed manuscript document signed "Horace Greeley," 1 page, 8vo, New York City, March 22, 1843. An indemnity bond issued by Thomas Whitely and the Sylvanian Association to Greeley, John Locke, and Jonas Winchester in the amount of $2,000. Greeley's signature and those of the two countersigners retain small affixed paper and wax seals. Bears docketed integral leaf.
