This is a very early example of Hopi Native American Indian potter, the highly collectible Frog Woman, Paqua Naha. The piece is from the early 1900's and is signed across the bottom with the painted frog by Paqua Naha. The bowl or jar shows an excellent quality polychrome traditional intricate geometric design and even better condition. Shows the Frog Woman's signature across the bottom and her finger print on the body typical of her work. This is rare and important piece of Hopi pottery. Measures 8.5" diameter and 3" tall. Exceptional example of the Frog Woman's work.
