Copyrighted 1903 by Underwood and Underwood. Works and Studios in Arlington, J.H., Littleton, N.H., and Washington D.C. No photographer noted. The photo shows a good view of the Hopi pueblo. In the foreground are two or three rows of dancers wearing headdresses and long fringed sashes around their "kilts." Various onlookers stand nearby. This is about the same time that Edward S. Curtis was photographing the Apache, Navajo and Hopi for his volumes on North American Indians. Later, “foreign” photographers were not admitted to these ceremonies. 3.5 x 7.”
