<B>Herbert Hoover: Signed Edition of <I>America's First Crusade</B></I>.</B></I> (New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1942), first edition, second printing, 81 pages, light blue cloth with navy blue lettering on the spine and front board, 8vo (5.5" x 8.25"), no dust jacket. Inscribed and signed "<I>To James Evans Mack With the Good Wishes of Herbert Hoover</B></I>" on the front free endpaper. Here, Hoover writes of America's involvement in the First World War, and of his philanthropic relief efforts in war-torn Europe. The book is in very good condition with moderate shelf wear, and two very minor stains on the front board.
