<B>Herbert Hoover Official Bronze Inauguration Medal,</B></I> 70mm diameter x 5 mm thickness, designed by Henry K. Bush-Brown, struck by U. S. Mint, 1929, mintage of 1,012. The obverse reads "Inauguration March 4, 1929" and has the designer's initials "BB" in the lower field before Hoover's bust; the reverse reads "Herbert Hoover/ President/ Charles Curtis/ Vice/ President" above an American eagle with spread wings. To the eagle's left is an illuminated map of Europe and to its right are a surveyor's tripod, a steam shovel, and a mining facility. Even wear, very fine condition.
