<B>Hood's Texas Brigade UCV Ribbon Grouping.</B></I> Five Confederate veteran ribbons built around the Kentucky-born Lieutenant General John Bell Hood. Included are the following:<BR><B>"John B. Hood Camp. U. C. V.</B></I>" white silk ribbon, 2.25" x 8". Two splits, browning and lightly frayed edges. An early veterans' item. Good condition.<BR><B>"John B. Hood Camp No. 103 Austin, Texas",</B></I> red and black silk ribbon with hanger, 2.5" x 9". A bi-face ribbon with a red front and black back. The verso gives the same UCV camp information as the front but adds "In Memorium". A celluloid escutcheon showing clasped hands serves as the hanger while gold tassels are affixed to the bottom. Fragile with numerous splits, Fair condition.<BR><B> "44th Reunion Hood's Texas Brigade Floresville, Texas October 13 - 14, 1915",</B></I> double swallow-tail red, white and blue ribbon below brass hanger frame and affixed with a Texas star. Light aging, else fine condition.<BR><B>"Annual Reunion Hood's Texas Brigade 1904,"</B></I> 2.25" x 7.5", red ribbon below a celluloid button featuring Hood's portrait and a brass frame hanger. Some stains, else very fine condition.<BR><B>"U. C. V."</B></I> in wreath white ribbon, 2" x 4.25", with 45mm celluloid of Confederate battleflag below. Splits on ribbon and stains on the celluloid. Very good condition. A nice thematic lot of scarce U. C.
